Program

Overview

This course will introduce the French language and cover basic, practical and social conversational skills useful in the day-to-day life. It will also help to promote oral comprehension by using the most common syntactic forms.

Objective: To offer students the opportunity to take French language instruction to help them prepare for their integration into the job market environment in Quebec.

Starting: March 2021 (Winter 2021)

Program Information

Cohorts: All

Schedule: 4 hours per week
= 2 hours /week (with FSL teacher / cohort)
+ 2 hours / week audio exercises (student’s homework)

Cohort size: maximum of 20 students / cohort

Requirement: Student must participate at least 90% of class hours

Upon successful completion:

The result of the French final exam will correspond to:
non-credit course on official transcript (to be confirmed by registrar).
Certification 60 hours (In-House certificate) - FSL by Collège de gestion, technologie et santé Matrix Inc. | Matrix College of Management, Technology and Healthcare Inc. Language Centre.
